Sorry, this is in the anime. Not the games. I don't want to argue about this. Sure he's a jerk, but he's one of the rivals that is actually opposite Satoshi. I don't mind you sharing your opinion though.

Oh, I wasn't clear by what "Pokemon series" meant. I guess "Pokemon franchise" would've been more accurate for what I was thinking of.
